This policy explains what La Vie de Cour (“we,” “us”) collects when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. We don’t sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and the first name you give us when you join.
- What you do at court: your rank, crest choices, the houses you save, quiz results, hearts, votes, posts on the Salon Board, looks entered in the Ball, visit streaks and the badges they earn, and anything optional you add, such as your birthday (month and day only), a territory name or your pets’ names.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your email, your plan and whether payment succeeded. We never see or store your full card number.
- Royal Dresser requests: the occasion you describe, your rank and your style preferences are sent to our AI provider to produce suggestions.
- On your device: the Site uses your browser’s local storage to remember your saved houses and preferences. We don’t use advertising cookies. If we join a commission program for house links, that partner may use cookies to credit a purchase.
- Technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes IP addresses and basic request logs to deliver and protect the Site.
Who sees what
Other signed-in members can see your first name, rank, crest, badges and what you post in the community areas. Your email address and payment details are never shown to other members.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the Site. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase for accounts, member data and photos
- Cloudflare for hosting and security
- Stripe for payments
- Anthropic for the Royal Dresser
- An email service, to send sign-in links
- A commission program partner, if we use one, for house links
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons (such as payment records).
Your choices and rights
You can edit your crest and optional details on the Site at any time. You may ask us to see, correct, download or delete your personal information by writing to empress@laviedecour.com from the email address on your account. Depending on where you live (for example California or Colorado), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
La Vie de Cour is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete any account we learn belongs to a minor.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will post a notice on the Site.
